Here are 60 heart centers and programs that earned designations and accreditation in 2024:
- Lufkin, Texas-based Heart Institute of East Texas and St. Luke's Health—Memorial were awarded accreditation and top recognition from the American College of Cardiology for the Partners in Care for Heart Failure program.
- The Structural Heart and Valve Program at Englewood (N.J.) Hospital received a three-star rating for its transcatheter aortic valve replacement program from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology. The hospital also received two Get With The Guidelines awards from the American Heart Association for stroke care and resuscitation.
- Kansas City, Mo.-based St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute was awarded the Mitral Valve Repair Reference Center Award from the Mitral Foundation.
- Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange (Calif.) and Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Calif., received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and the American Heart Association's Heart-Check mark for Comprehensive Cardiac Certification.
- Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital was redesignated a level 1 emergency cardiac care center by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Sylvester, Ga.-based Phoebe Worth Medical Center received a level 3 emergency cardiac care center designation.
- Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health was awarded cardiac catheter lab accreditation by the American College of Cardiology.
- Englewood (N.J.) Health received the American College of Cardiology's Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award. The health system's emergency medical services received the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline Gold award
- Bozeman (Mont.) Health received the American College of Cardiology's Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award.
- Nine Minneapolis-based Allina Health hospitals received the American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines awards for stroke care: Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Buffalo (Minn.) Hospital, Cambridge (Minn.) Medical Center, Faribault (Minn.) Medical Center, Coon Rapids, Minn.-based Mercy Hospital, New Ulm (Minn.) Medical Center, Owatonna (Minn.) Hospital, River Falls (Wisc.) Area Hospital and St. Paul, Minn.-based United Hospital.
- Franciscan Health Olympia Fields (Ill.) cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs were recertified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
- Long Branch, N.J.-based Monmouth Medical Center's cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program was recertified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health's Olean General Hospital received the American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines-Silver Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition.
- The cardiac progressive care unit at New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health's Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City received a Gold-Level Beacon Award of Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
- Vanderbilt University Medical Center received the American College of Cardiology's Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award.

- The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at New York City-based The Mount Sinai Hospital received three-star recognition in all of the cardiac surgery categories in the 2020-2023 Society of Thoracic Surgeons report.
- Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag's Jeffrey M.
