11 cardiologists on the move

Here are 11 cardiologists stepping into new roles since Nov. 10:

1. Dr. Sameh Said has been appointed chief of the section of pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery for Valhalla, N.Y.-based Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and Westchester Medical Center.
   
   
2. Omaha, Neb.-based CHI Health has lifted its exclusivity agreement after three years and is restoring procedure privileges to 17 cardiologists at Pioneer Heart Institute.
   
   
3. Shahid Mushtaq Khan, MD, has joined Saratoga (N.Y.) Hospital Medical Group-Cardiology as an interventional cardiologist.
   
   
4. Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health System welcomed pediatric cardiologist Marjorie Gayanilo, MD, as part of an affiliation between Valley Health and New York City-based Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital.
   
   
5. Las Vegas-based Nevada Heart & Vascular Center welcomed two cardiothoracic surgeons:

6. Palm Beach (Fla.) Health Network Physician Group-Cardiovascular Care welcomed five cardiologists to its Boca Raton group:
