Gas station giant Wawa is donating $6.15 million to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through the Wawa Foundation.
The gift will fund a new Wawa Coffee and Care Cart at the Middleman Family Pavilion in King of Prussia, Pa., according to an April 19 CHOP news release. The funding will be used to support the family resource center at CHOP's main campus.
The welcome area at the family resource center, scheduled to open as part of a new tower in 2028, will incorporate Wawa in its name.
