UCHealth to build new health campus

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth has revealed plans to bring a new hospital and advanced health services to the residents of Highlands Ranch, Colo. The new health campus will include both inpatient and outpatient comprehensive services.

The new six-story hospital, which is expected to open in 2018, is projected to cost nearly $315 million and will have room to expand in the future to meet the growing community's demands. It will house 72 inpatient beds and provide an intensive care unit, operating rooms, advanced cardiac services, an emergency department and complete imaging capabilities.

UCHealth will partner with community physicians and Aurora-based University of Colorado School of Medicine to provide care at the new Highlands Ranch hospital.
