Cincinnati-based TriHealth plans to build a multimillion-dollar surgery center in Anderson Township, Ohio, near Mercy Health's Anderson Hospital, reports Cincinnati Business Courier.
The nearly 13,000-square-foot surgery center will feature four operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms and a laboratory, according to the article. It will be built between two existing buildings, resulting in a connected, 86,000-square-foot medical complex, the report states.
TriHealth will lease 73,000 square feet, or 85 percent of the space, while four independent physician groups not affiliated with TriHealth will occupy the rest, according to the report.
The surgery center is expected to open by the end of 2017.
Aside from the surgery center, TriHealth plans to expand its medical office space for primary care, pediatrics and specialists at the current Group Health Anderson office, according to the report.
