Monroe, La.-based St. Francis Medical Center will close its north campus Oct. 1, with all services moving to the center's other locations, KARD-TV reports.
Kristin Wolkart, president and CEO of St. Francis, said the facility could not financially sustain services. The facility primarily serves Medicaid patients, but has low reimbursement rates, Ms. Wolkart said.
No jobs will be cut in the transition, according to the report. St. Francis will continue services at its downtown campus and community health center. The center's consolidation is set for completion Nov. 1.
