Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Health System is set to begin construction of a $55 million replacement hospital for Union (S.C.) Medical Center in the spring of 2023, The Post and Courier reported Feb. 28.
In 2015, the health system purchased the 48-acre plot of land that the new 99,600-square-foot facility will be built on. The center will offer primary care, emergency care, imaging, inpatient services, laboratory service, a pharmacy, outpatient services, infusion services and mammography services.
Spartanburg Regional has six hospitals in its system.
