Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel broke ground on the construction of a 30-bed hospital and medical office building in Dublin, Ohio, local news outlet NBC4 reported March 13.
The health system purchased the land in September for $12.1 million. The Dublin campus will be the health system's first addition since 2006.
Mount Carmel first proposed the campus in November 2021. However, rising costs caused the health system to delay plans and propose building the hospital in two phases.
