Northern Light Blue Hill (Maine) Hospital broke ground May 26 on a new facility, which will have a full-service emergency department, CBS affiliate WABI 5 reported.
The new hospital, which will be smaller in size, will have imaging services and renovated space for lab and rehabilitation services. Each patient room will be private with a view of the water.
The hospital is slated to open in the summer of 2023.
