Sanford-based HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, is unveiling its new $15 million HCA Florida Casselberry (Fla.) Emergency freestanding emergency room.
The ER is an 11-bed facility that will provide a range of emergency medical services. Physicians and healthcare workers on staff will treat both general and specific conditions, like chest pain, broken bones and infections.
The facility is expected to open in early March, according to a Feb. 28 news release shared with Becker's.
HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, also part of HCA Florida Healthcare, is a 221-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center. HCA Florida Healthcare comprises more than 650 care sites, including hospitals, physician practices, freestanding ERs and urgent care centers.
