Moreno Valley, Calif.-based Riverside University Health System and PMB, a healthcare real estate developer, have partnered to build a $580 million behavioral health campus in Mead Valley, Calif.
The project, which is expected to be complete in 2026, has already begun construction and will comprise a 445,000-square-foot wellness village on an 18-acre campus, according to a June 17 news release.
It will also feature mental health urgent care and crisis residential programs for people under the age of 13. Primary and specialty care, a pharmacy, substance use disorder treatment and dental services will also be included.
Some of the key programs include a wellness and education center, a recovery center, a youth and family care center, and restorative care. The residences program will also be on site and includes supportive housing.
