4 hospitals planning upgrades, expansions

Four hospitals or health systems announced, started or completed construction projects in the last week:

1. Presbyterian Healthcare Services invests $260M in 11-story tower, parking garage
Presbyterian Health Services plans to build a $260 million, 11-story patient tower and parking garage on its 111-year-old campus in Albuquerque, N.M.

2. Chicago hospital opens $6.5M mental health unit
After successfully piloting a crisis stabilization unit, Chicago-based Holy Cross Hospital is opening a new $6.5 million mental health unit that nearly triples its capacity to treat mental health emergencies.

3. St. Bernards to open $102M medical tower in December
Jonsboro, Ark.-based St. Bernards Healthcare plans to open its $102 million medical tower in December.

4. Kalispell Regional opens pediatric hospital in Montana
Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare opened a first-of-its-kind pediatric hospital in Montana.
