3 Oregon hospitals back affordable housing projects with $1M grant

Providence Seaside (Ore.) Hospital, Astoria-based Columbia Memorial Hospital and Warrenton-based Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare backed two Oregon affordable housing projects with $500,000 grants, The Astorian reported Dec. 28.

The first project intends to turn a former hotel into housing. The second project will support the Northwest Oregon Housing Authority expansion project to develop more units for seniors and people with disabilities.

The grant was made possible through a risk-sharing agreement with Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization.
