MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has opened its expanded emergency department — the Brinn Center — to double the hospital's capacity, according to the Daily Voice.
The new space allows reduced wait times for patients and better facility flow, in addition to expanded capacity.
The renovation cost more than $1 million and was funded by HEAL NY, the Children's Dream Foundation and the Dyson Foundation, according to the report.
