Apple CEO Tim Cook will meet with President Donald Trump April 25 to discuss how the administration's trade policy with China will affect Apple's business, according to Fortune.
President Trump has pursued tariffs on up to $150 billion of Chinese imports, many of which are essential to manufacture Apple products. Apple stands to be one of the most negatively affected American companies if the tariffs are implemented.
"The countries that embrace openness do exceptional and the countries that don't, don't," Mr. Cook told attendees at a March conference in Beijing, according to Fortune. "It's not a matter of carving things up between sides. I'm going to encourage that calm heads prevail."
