JPMorgan Chase & Co. will build a 2.5-million-square-foot headquarters to replace its New York City home, CNBC reports.
Here are three things to know about the headquarters.
1. JPMorgan said the project recommits the bank to New York City.
2. The headquarters will house 15,000 employees. This is compared to the 3,500 employees JPMorgan's current office was built to hold in 1950.
3. JPMorgan employees will work in nearby facilities during the construction, CNBC reports.
