Sanford Health, based in Fargo, N.D., has deemed 2012 the year for its nurses, according to an Argus Leader report.
In recognition of the nursing staff, the health system will offer additional training and leadership opportunities. The organization is also working on opportunities for nurses to travel to other Sanford clinics in Oklahoma, Oregon, Ireland and Ghana, according to the report. A virtual center for nurse leadership and a shadowing program are also among programs in the works for next year.
