Mayo Clinic has announced it will expand its Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., to Arizona, according to a health system release.
The medical school expansion will be called Mayo Medical School – Arizona Campus. It will include a key collaboration with Arizona State University in which all students will complete a specialized master's degree in the Science of Health Care Delivery by ASU concurrently with their medical degree from Mayo Medical School. Mayo Medical School is believed to be the first program to offer such a program.
The Arizona branch of Mayo Medical School will be based on Mayo's Scottsdale campus.
