Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, Calif., announced the addition of $173 million in "community benefits" to offset the impacts of its $3.5 billion expansion, according to a San Jose Mercury News report.
The offer is $49 million more than what was offered in June and includes approximately $10 million more for transportation management projects, $25 million more in commuter rail passes for hospital employees and $12 million for city programs addressing climate change and sustainable communities.
