Beaumont Hospitals, parent company of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., and two other major hospitals, has announced it will be changing its name to Beaumont Health System, according to a Detroit News report.
According to the news report, the name change reflects its wide and expanded range of healthcare services. While the parent company's name has undergone a change, the individual hospitals, medical centers and other facilities will maintain the same names.
