Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth has acquired Emergency Physicians Professional Association and Valley Emergency Physicians.
The two groups manage and staff five hospital emergency departments and two emergency care centers in Phoenix, according to the report.
TeamHealth is a provider of outsourced physician staffing to hospitals and has 8,600 healthcare professionals in anesthesia, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, urgent care and pediatric staffing.
