Somnia Anesthesia has announced that its anesthesia services evaluation tool is now available in the Apple Store.
The app, initially released in April as a web-based platform, allows hospital executives to evaluate their facilities' anesthesia services in four critical areas — leadership, financial management, quality improvement and clinical services.
The tool grades the productivity and efficacy of a hospital's current anesthesia service provider based on a series of twenty questions in the four areas. Percentages are computed from a 1-5 scale response for each question, ranging from poor to excellent. At the conclusion, a score is provided along with recommended next steps for improvement, if applicable, according to the company.
To download the app in the Apple Store, simply search "Somnia App" and begin the evaluation process.
