Providence Washington Anesthesia Services, an anesthesia practice managed by Somnia Anesthesia, will host its second annual "Conference with a Cause" Anesthesia Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Wash.
Net proceeds from symposium will be used to purchase pulse oximeters through LifeBox.org, which will be distributed in the developing world via members of Health Volunteers Overseas.
Key presentations at the event include: Anesthesia for the Morbidly Obese Patient, Sepsis Care through the Peri-Operative Period, Massive Transfusion in Obstetrics and Surgery and the ICU.
Attendees are eligible to receive a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for participating. The conference has also received prior approval by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 8 CE credits.
