Hartford, Conn.-based Trinity Health of New England and Aetna rolled out an enhanced accountable care product.
Here are three notes on the Aetna Whole Health Value Care Alliance and Trinity Health of New England product.
1. The product will grant participating employers in-network access to Trinity Health of New England's 900-plus physicians and four hospitals: Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford; Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Conn.; Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, Conn.; and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in Hartford.
2. Aetna has offered an ACO product with the Value Care Alliance since 2016. The Value Care Alliance is an ACO comprising six hospitals in Connecticut and nearly 1,800 physicians.
3. The expanded plan, with a statewide geographical reach, also includes ProHealth Physicians and its more than 350 physicians across 90 locations.
