The National Committee for Quality Assurance has accredited The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Level 2 accountable care organization.
This means the 535-bed children's hospital met NCQA standards for monitoring patient experience and collecting and reporting up to 40 measures of clinical quality and costs.
CHOP was the first children's hospital to receive Level 1 ACO designation in 2013, and one of the first five organizations to be accredited nationwide.
