LHS Health Network, network of physician practices, hospitals and other healthcare providers affiliated with Lourdes Health System in Camden, N.J., has formed an accountable care organization agreement with Aetna.
The ACO agreement will cover 20,000 Aetna members. The payer and LHS Health Network are also forming a Medicare provider collaboration model, which will serve more than 2,000 Aetna Medicare members. The agreements take effect July 1.
LHS Health Network was formed in 2013 and includes 90 primary care physicians. The network also launched an ACO with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey in February.
