Adventist Health-Portland (Ore.), Tuality Healthcare in Hillsboro, Ore., and Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon have announced they are forming an accountable care network.
The network will aim to advance the health of patients, improve patient experience and lower costs. The network agreement includes a shift to an outcomes-based payment model that emphasizes quality and total cost of care. There is also a risk-based health program with incentive measures based on quality and cost benchmarks.
"Tuality, Adventist and Regence share a vision that collaboration is necessary to increase healthcare access and improve people's ability to afford coverage. We believe this collaboration will result in quality, efficient and affordable healthcare," Dick Stenson, president and CEO of Tuality, said in the news release.
"This robust partnership reflects our commitment to provide patients a positive healing experience in a cost effective manner. It also provides the community access to some of the most highly skilled and compassionate providers in the region," Tom Russell, president and CEO of Adventist Medical Center in Portland, said in the release.
