1. North Carolina physicians get MSSP ACO under Aledade, Emtiro Health deal
Aledade, which partners with primary care physicians to establish ACOs, partnered with data and analytics provider Emtiro Health to create an independent provider-led ACO in North Carolina.
2. Cape Fear Valley, UnitedHealthcare launch Medicare Advantage ACO
Fayetteville, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Health is teaming up with UnitedHealthcare to offer more coordinated care for Medicare Advantage patients.
3. Aetna, ZOOM+Care predict new ACO could cut employers' healthcare costs by 15%
Portland, Ore.-based ZOOM+Care unveiled an ACO commercial insurance product with Aetna for employers in the greater Portland area April 25.
4. Emory Healthcare to launch ACO, bundled payment program with Walmart
Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare and Walmart are teaming up on an ACO for Walmart employees based in the metro Atlanta area, as well as a bundled payment program for spine surgeries and joint replacement surgeries.
5. Trinity Health of New England, Aetna partner for ACO product: 3 notes
Hartford, Conn.-based Trinity Health of New England and Aetna rolled out an enhanced accountable care product.
