Amarillo (Texas) Legacy Medical Accountable Care Organization expanded its network with 82 providers from BSA Health System's three physician groups located in Amarillo, Texas.
Effective Jan. 1, the physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants from BSA Physicians Group, BSA Harrington Physicians and BSA Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic are joining the ranks of Amarillo Legacy Medical ACO's 120 providers.
Amarillo Legacy Medical ACO was established in August 2012 and joined the Medicare Shared Savings Program in January 2013. It achieved nearly $4.9 million in savings in 2013 and successfully reported quality criteria, according to a statement.
The ACO serves 14,372 beneficiaries.
