BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee and Nashville, Tenn.-based MissionPoint Health Partners agreed to extend their accountable care network agreement two years and expand its offerings.
8. Cigna launches 3 more collaborative care agreements
Cigna has announced three more collaborative care agreements with Durham, N.C.-based Duke Connected Care, Dallas-based Texas Clinically Integrated Network and Portland, Ore.-based Providence Medical Group.
9. 3 medical groups join Texas ACO
Amarillo (Texas) Legacy Medical Accountable Care Organization expanded its network with 82 providers from BSA Health System's three physician groups located in Amarillo, Texas.
10. UnitedHealthcare, Catalyst Health Network form ACO
UnitedHealthcare and Plano, Texas-based Catalyst Health Network plan to create an ACO for UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored health plan beneficiaries in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
11. Cigna forms 5 new collaborative care agreements
Cigna announced the launch of five new collaborative care agreements in Florida and California, which began Jan. 1 and emphasize preventive health through better patient access and more coordinated care.
12. BCBS of Texas launches 3 new ACOs
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas announced the launch of three new physician-led ACOs on Jan. 1, in partnership with Austin (Texas) Regional Clinic, Plano, Texas-based Catalyst Health Network and Austin, Texas-based Southwest Provider Accountable Care.
