Boone County Health Center (Albion, Neb.). Boone County Health Center admitted 71 patients and delivered 47 babies in 1950, its inaugural year. Today, physicians and surgeons perform 60,000 procedures at the hospital annually. In the last 10 years, the Health Center has undergone four major infrastructure projects that have transformed it into a progressive acute care facility. The hospital is affiliated with five medical clinics and employs 250 community members.
