Aspirus Ironwood (Mich.) Hospital. Established in 1923, Asprius Ironwood, formerly known as Aspirus Grand View, plays a central role in its community of 5,387 people. The rural hospital consists of a surgery center, two clinics, a home health program and an eye and optical center. As a steward of community-based health, Aspirus Ironwood ranks highly among its peers in clinical and financial performance as well as patient satisfaction. The National Rural Health Association named Aspirus Ironwood among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the U.S. for three consecutive years from 2015 to 2017.
