Metro Health Hospital (Wyoming, Mich.). Metro Health Hospital was the first full-service hospital in Michigan to achieve LEED certification for sustainability achievement. Metro Health Hospital touts a 48,500-square-foot green roof and in 2016, the hospital collected and disposed of 3,346 pounds of unused or expired prescriptions. Practice Greenhealth named Metro Health Hospital a 2017 Greenhealth Partner for Change Award winner and among the Top 25 for Environmental Excellence Award winners in 2016 for the eighth consecutive year.
