Inova Fairfax Hospital (Falls Church, Va.).Inova Fairfax Hospital participates in the Healthier Hospital Initiative, which challenges hospitals to reduce energy and waste, choose safer and less toxic products, and serve healthier foods. The medical and surgical tower on Inova Fairfax Hospital's campus, built in 2012 and LEED Silver certified, was Inova's first building designed and constructed to LEED standards. The 833-bed hospital received the Partner Recognition Award from Practice Greenhealth in 2017.
