Advocate Christ Medical Center (Oak Lawn, Ill.). Advocate Christ Medical Center achieved LEED Gold certification for two projects in the past two years: a nine-story outpatient facility in 2015 and its eight-story East Tower in 2017. The hospital was honored for its sustainable engineering efforts with the 2017 American Society for Healthcare Engineering's Energy to Care Award, given to hospitals reducing energy by at least 10 percent compared to their baseline consumption. Practice Greenhealth named Advocate Christ Medical Center among its 2017 Emerald Award recipients, honoring the highest-achieving Greenhealth Partner for Change hospitals, and among its 2017 Greening the OR Recognition Award honorees.
