University of Missouri's Tiger Institute for Health Innovation (Columbia). Created in 2009 by Former University of Missouri System President Gary Forsee and Cerner Corp. CEO Neal Patterson, the Tiger Institute for Health Innovation aims to establish a national model for excellent patient care and reduced healthcare costs. The center houses the Edge and Living Lab teams, which focus on improving EHR solutions and clinician workflow. The Tiger Institute for Health Innovation also advances innovations through its Tiger Institute Research effort, Value Creation Office and population health team.
