Northwestern Medicine's Program for Healthcare Quality and Safety (Evanston, Ill.). With several degree options available to students, Northwestern Medicine's healthcare quality and safety program is designed to teach healthcare students and professionals the importance of improving patient safety measures across the profession. Students can opt to obtain a master of science degree, combined master's and doctor of medicine degree, or enroll in a certificate program. Faculty may also enroll in the faculty development program, which covers specific patient safety and healthcare quality tools to integrate within their own course material. Northwestern Medicine introduced the program in 2006.
