Not only was it honored with a 2016 Practice Greenhealth Top 25 Environmental Excellence Award, it also earned a spot in three Practice Greenhealth Circles of Excellence: the Leadership Circle, Chemicals Circle and Green Building Circle — and its outpatient pavilion was awarded LEED Gold certification in 2015. Additionally, Advocate Christ was a 2014 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Energy to Care Award winner.
