As the founder of Masimo Corporation, a global medical technology innovator credited with revolutionizing noninvasive patient monitoring, Mr. Kiani has been at the forefront of patient safety and innovation for more than 20 years. In 2013, he founded PSMF with the goal of eliminating preventable deaths by 2020. Mr. Kiani has been the recipient of numerous awards, including a SafeCare Person of the Year Award in 2015. The award was given in recognition for Mr. Kiani's significant contributions to the improvement of patient safety and healthcare quality.
