River Falls (Wis.) Area Hospital. This award-winning critical access hospital is part of Minneapolis-based Allina Health. River Falls Area Hospital has served its community — which lies roughly 40 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. — since its founding in 1939 and has been on its current campus since 1992. About 250 employees work at River Falls Area Hospital, and about 155 physicians are on staff.
