Peter Rutherford, MD. CEO of Confluence Health (Wenatchee, Wash.). Dr. Rutherford has served as CEO of Confluence Health since 2013. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as the organization's board chairman. He oversees the health system, which includes 3,600 employees and more than 270 physicians. Under his leadership, Confluence Health has become an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals and more than 40 medical specialty areas. Dr. Rutherford is board certified in internal medicine and received his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
