Michael Coyle, PhD. CEO of Coteau des Prairies Health Care System (Sisseton, S.D.). Mr. Coyle, who started his career as a volunteer paramedic, has more than 25 years of healthcare experience in marketing, foundation and administration. Before joining Coteau des Prairies Health Care System in January 2015, he served as CEO of Atkinson, Neb.-based West Holt Medical Services for nearly six years. In his current role, Mr. Coyle oversees a 25-bed critical access hospital, a 64-bed long-term care facility and four medical clinics. He earned his MBA from Marshall-based Southwest Minnesota State University and his doctorate in organizational leadership from Minneapolis-based Capella University.
