Joseph Pepe, MD. President and CEO of Catholic Medical Center Healthcare System (Manchester, N.H.). Since 2012, Dr. Pepe has served as president and CEO of Catholic Medical Center Healthcare System, which includes a 330-bed acute care hospital, a heart and vascular institute, physician practices and an ambulatory surgery partnership with 30 surgeons. His leadership and devotion to healthcare is recognized worldwide; in June 2017, Dr. Pepe received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal, which is the highest medal the Pope can award a layperson. Dr. Pepe is a board-certified internist with more than 20 years of experience maintaining an internal medicine practice in Manchester. Prior to taking on the top leadership role at the health system, Dr. Pepe served as CMC's CMO.
