Janice Nevin, MD. President and CEO of Christiana Care Health System (Wilmington, Del.). Dr. Nevin was appointed president and CEO of the two-hospital, 1,100-bed Christiana Care Health System in 2014. Under her leadership, the system is one of only 15 major teaching hospitals in the U.S. with Truven Top 100 Hospital rankings awarded in 2015 and 2016, and the only major teaching hospital to earn Truven’s Everest Award consecutively for those two years. Dr. Nevin helped establish a clinical service line structure to support high-value care across the continuum. The health system is dedicated to advancing value-based care initiatives, reducing unnecessary variation in care and optimizing care delivery.
