Howard Grant, MD. President and CEO of Lahey Health (Burlington, Mass.). Dr. Grant became president and CEO of Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Clinic in 2010 and was promoted to his current role as president and CEO of Lahey Health, an integrated healthcare delivery system, in 2012 when Beverly, Mass.-based Northeast Health System merged with Lahey Clinic. During Dr. Grant's tenure, Lahey Health expanded to include 1,400 physicians after a merger with Winchester (Mass.) Hospital in 2014. The merger also led to around 400 inpatient transfers in one year and realization of $13.8 million in savings. He has also held positions at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa., and Temple University Health System in Philadelphia.
