Missoula (Mont.) Bone & Joint Surgery Center. After starting as a two-physician office more than 50 years ago, Missoula Bone & Joint has grown to a 170-employee operation, with 29 of its employees having worked with the organization for over a decade. The organization has a job shadowing program in which employees spend time in different departments to understand the work of others. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, most of Missoula's employees work only four days per week, and many open positions are posted and filled internally. The organization also offers continuing education funds to all staff members.
