To promote employee well-being, in 2016 the hospital introduced two new services for staff: Breath, Move, Connect aims to manage employee stress through meditation and resiliency training, and an on-site social worker provides employees with direct support as it relates to stress management, anxiety, addiction, work conflicts and more. Employees can also play with therapy dogs during their work day through the Healing Paws program, launched in 2012.
