BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Fla.). BayCare is a nonprofit health system with 14 hospitals and more than 26,700 team members. The health system has an Earn-As-You-Learn program that provides team members with a stipend while attending school and working a set number of hours with the health system. Additionally, BayCare's School at Work program helps team members build a foundation for their career, develop a career plan or develop additional skills through online modules and weekly meetings. Diversity is important to the health system's leaders, and the BayCare Diversity Committee offers lunch and learns throughout the year on various topics such as behavioral health, faith traditions and human trafficking.
