Meet the organization: CCHA has a small crew of just 11 employees. The organization is an alliance group of 15 hospitals located in southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. The company also formed Coastal Connect Health Information Exchange in 2009. Last year, CCHA saved member hospitals more than $6.3 million in contracts, and the National Cooperative of Health Networks Association chose CCHA as its 2014 Outstanding Health Network. When asked if the administrative team promotes a collaborative and cohesive work environment, 100 percent of employees said yes.
