Ralph Muller. CEO of University of Pennsylvania Health System (Philadelphia). In 2003, Mr. Muller was appointed CEO of the University of Pennsylvania Health system, which includes five acute care hospitals, a faculty practice plan, a primary care provider network and various other facilities. From 2001 to 2002, he was a visiting fellow at the Kings Fund in London, and from 1985 to 2001, he served as president and CEO of the University of Chicago Hospitals and Health System. Mr. Muller has served as chairman of the Association of American Medical Colleges and chairman of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems.
